In this workshop, you will release and soften the ropy muscles and thick fascia of the body using a combination of a Yin Yoga practice and yoga therapy balls.
Learn how to integrate thearpy balls in your daily routine to open up the part of the body that yoga poses simply can't access. This workshop will focus on the whole body from feet to neck. In addition, will offer much needed release within connective tissue and postural muscles.
Practice how to take healing into your own hands. Expect to take a journey through your body’s habits and habitat to identify pain blind spots,
Yin Yoga can be defined as "The balancing practice for your Yang style of yoga" or "Yoga for the joints, not the muscles."

Deana entered into the journey of yoga through her enthusiasm for physical, and emotional wellness. As a Holistic Psychotherapist, she embraces the relationship between the mind, body and spirit. Deana’s practice has increased her sense of connection with total being, breath, and movement. The yoga style she teaches is uncomplicated; most influenced by Vinyasa, and Anusara. Students can expect to sweat, and have fun through creative sequences, and deep core work.
Deana completed the 200-hour Teacher Training at South Boston Yoga, under the tutelage of David Vendetti and Todd Skoglund, in May 2012. In June of 2014, Deana received her 500-hour Certificate in Advanced Vinyasa Training, led by Jacqui Bonwell, Rolf Gates and influenced by David Vendetti. Deana credits all of her teachers with helping her love and passion for yoga take root. She cannot express the magnitude of appreciation for what yoga has done for her life.
