Deep Stretch Yin yoga is not the vigorous, hot and sweaty style of yoga. It's the healing, calming and deeply opening style of yoga to balance all of the activity, exercise and stress from the demands of life. This class begins seated and slowly transitions to fully laying down. It's your time to let go and "undo what life does." CC

The setting of this practice is in a dimly lit, warm room filled with the sound of gentle healing music. Throughout the practice you'll experience scalp massage, Acupressure, Reiki and hands on adjustments with therapeutic grade essential oils.
This is not Restorative Yoga, as that is a more passive muscular style of yoga. Yin Yoga stretches the deep inner connective tissues and lubricates the joints in making the body more flexible, resilient and youthful. The most common area for injury and surgery in our body are our shoulders, hips and knees. Each stretch will assist in relieving you from pain. Breaking down scar tissue. Improving your athletic performance and recovery. Increasing your range of motion and Myofascial release. Experience an immediate relief from physical, mental and emotional distress.
With the meditative quality of Yin Yoga, this practice has been successfully used in programs and therapies for high stress, anxiety, PTSD, ADD / ADHD, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, insomnia, trauma and addiction.
